Toffee The Japanese Akita Dog My New Home: A Life in Pictures

These are my first moments in my new forever home. I now have a place in the world and a Daddy who will always look after me and I have so many adventures to look forward to.

The nice people from the Friends of Akitas Trust brought me to my new home and this is my first time seeing my new surroundings.

I didn't have much with me when I came, just my collar, a few toys and my vaccination booklet. Just look at what a good girl I am.

I made myself at home very quickly and soon discovered that I liked to sleep on the couch and I also liked to sit at the top of the stairs.

I soon had lots of new dog toys and I was a very happy Akita indeed.

Now this is what I call making myself at home.
