Toffee The Akita Dog's Xmas 2015: A Life in Pictures

This Christmas we had a huge Christmas tree and there were lots and lots of presents under there. I wish I'd learnt to read so I knew which ones were for this Akita girl. I've been good all year and I should get lots of gifts. ¹

Look at all these wonderful presents. I think I need to explore further.

I'm such a lucky girl. What a big bone I got. I think I'll chew on some of it and then bury it in the back garden. Perhaps then I'll leave it for a few months and then remember where I left my bone and go and dig it up. Perhaps then I'll chew on it a bit more and then hide it behind a cushion on the couch in the living room. What do you think?

And look at what I got for Daddy this Christmas time. I even wrapped it for him. I hope he likes his present.

¹Don't tell anyone, but one of Toffee's other favorite times of year was actually bonfire night. Unlike almost all other dogs, this Japanese Akita loved to look up at all the bright lights in the sky and wasn't in the slightest bit bothered by the noise.
