Toffee The Akita Dog's Holidays - Edale 1: A Life in Pictures

We had a long weekend in the village of Edale in the Peak District in the Spring of 2014 and I loved the countryside and our long walks. I particularly liked all the smells in the countryside and there were a lot of sheep. More sheep than I've ever known, but I wasn't allowed off my lead to chase them. I met lots of new people and dogs as well and we went to a music and beer festival in Hope and had quite a lot of train rides.1

This is Fairy Cottage where I had many happy times in the garden. It's very nice that they let dogs come on holiday here and spring time is a great time to visit.

2Akita play (like that of a lot of husky-type dogs) involves lots of spinning around and lots of posturing, alternating between dominant and submissive postures.
