Toffee The Akita Dog's Favorite Walks - Howell's: A Life in Pictures

When we go for a walk around New Brighton I like to stop off at Howell's, the DIY store on Rake Lane, to gets some treats from the counter. Daddy always makes me walk around the shop first, before we go to the counter. I really have no idea why, but once we get to the counter up I get and my treats are soon in front of me. ¹

¹Howell's DIY store was part of the little food map which Toffee carried around in her head, and with the Stanley's Cask pub only being a few doors away she particularly liked Rake Lane. Toffee would often try her hardest to make a detour on to Rake Lane on a morning before any of the shops were open yet.
